“Don’t Care About Critics”: Trump Responds to Profanity-Filled Post Targeting Iran

US President Donald Trump dismissed the criticism over his profane remarks, in which he warned of destruction in Iran if they failed to reach an agreement to end the war.

US President Donald Trump brushed aside criticism regarding his profanity-laced remarks, in which he stated that if Iran does not strike a deal to end the conflict, the country will face devastation.

When asked about calling Iranians “crazy bastards,” Trump said on Monday, “I don’t care about the critics.” “I haven’t heard that,” the US president told those critics who were demanding an examination of his mental health should the conflict persist.

“But if that is the case, then you need more people like me. Because our country was being looted—in trade, in everything—for many years, until I came along. So, that being the case, you need more people (like me),” he said.

Critics slammed Trump’s profanity-laden post on Truth Social on Easter Sunday, labeling it “repugnant,” while others called upon his Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment—a provision allowing for the removal of a president if they are deemed unable to discharge their duties.
