Iranian Foreign Minister reaches Oman for nuclear talks with the US

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reached Muscat, Oman’s capital, where he is set to take part in a fresh round of nuclear negotiations with the US delegation.

Iran’s state news agency, IRNA, reported that the country’s foreign minister arrived in Oman late Thursday for nuclear talks with the United States.

The agency said Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi “arrived in Muscat, the Omani capital, to participate in a new round of nuclear talks with the American delegation.”

He is expected to meet with Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for the Middle East. Washington is seeking diplomatic progress on Iran’s nuclear program and other issues but has not ruled out military action.
