Strikes Set to Start Today: Iran Issues Warning to Tech Firms After US Targets Its Leaders

The Guards stated that they plan to focus on major U.S. technology companies, naming 18 firms they claim were involved in the “targeted assassination” of officials.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards stated that, starting April 1, they would target 18 major U.S. technology companies—including Apple, Google, Meta, IBM, Tesla, and Boeing. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Guards alleged that these companies were involved in the “targeted assassination” of officials.

The statement read: “These companies should expect the elimination of their respective units in Iran—in retaliation for every assassination—starting Wednesday, April 1, at 8:00 PM Tehran time (1630 GMT).”

Issuing a warning to employees, the statement added: “We advise the employees of these institutions to immediately vacate their workplaces in order to save their lives.”

These companies include Apple, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, Dell, Tesla, Nvidia, Boeing, HP, Cisco, Oracle, Palantir, J.P. Morgan, GE, Spire Solutions, and G42.

In the statement, they labeled these firms as “terrorist companies” and urged individuals residing in the vicinity of these companies to evacuate the area—specifically a “one-kilometer radius”—and relocate to a safe location.

This threat comes at a time when President Donald Trump has stated that he is pursuing diplomacy to end the conflict, while simultaneously threatening to further escalate the US-Israel campaign against the Islamic Republic.

A statement by the Guards asserted that the US government and major tech companies have disregarded their repeated warnings regarding the necessity of halting operations targeting top Iranian officials and alleged that tech companies play a “pivotal role in designing and tracking assassination targets.”

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Pakpour, were killed on February 28—the first day of the war—and the US and Israel reportedly sought to eliminate the entire Iranian leadership.

The Islamic Republic’s powerful security chief, Ali Larijani, has also been assassinated, alongside several other prominent figures.
